Used on: older Trek road frames (Emonda, Madone and Domane SLR before the T47 switch).
BB90 presses bare bearings straight into the carbon shell with no cup, so a worn bearing means the seat itself can loosen. It is a 24 mm only bore and cannot take a 30 mm crank. Trek moved the Emonda, Madone and Domane SLR to threaded T47 from model year 2023 to 2024.
