A SRAM DUB 28.99 mm crank fits a BSA shell using a DUB-specific threaded BB. The 28.99 mm axle needs the DUB bearing, so a plain 24 mm Shimano BSA BB will not work even though the shell thread is identical.
Do not try to run a DUB crank in a Shimano 24 mm BB. The 28.99 mm axle is nearly 5 mm larger and will not pass through a 24 mm bearing.
