Used on: the standard non-Boost rear on disc-brake road, gravel and older mountain bikes.
12x142 is the non-Boost rear standard: a 12 mm axle in a 142 mm hub. The wheel fitment is the same across frames, but the thread pitch cut into the frame differs, so a 142 mm axle from one brand may not thread into another. Measure the pitch before buying.
