A 30 mm crank with a long spindle is the native fit for a BB386EVO shell. The 46 mm bore in the wide 86.5 mm shell hosts a pressed cup carrying a 30 mm bearing.

BB386EVO is a wide 30 mm standard, so a short PF30 30 mm crank may not reach both bearings. Use a BB386EVO-length crankset.
