A 24 mm Shimano Hollowtech II crank is the native fit for a BB86 road shell. Two cartridge bearings in plastic cups press into the 41 mm bore and carry the 24 mm axle directly.
BB86 is also sold as PF86 or PF41; they are the same 41 mm bore. Make sure the unit is the 86.5 mm road length, not the wider BB92.
