A 24 mm Shimano crank is the native fit for a Trek BB95 MTB shell, the wider sibling of BB90. Bearings press into the 37 mm carbon seats and carry the 24 mm axle directly.
Do not fit a road BB90 bearing set in a BB95 shell. The 95.5 mm shell needs the wider MTB spacing or the crank will not preload.
